ACA Prospects 2019: What’s Next is a tailored event for chartered accountants who are up to ten years post qualified. Year after year this event provides delegates with a complete package of career enhancing skills, guidance and training.
Whether you're looking to develop yourself in your current role or venture into a new position in business or practice, our bespoke programme will take you through the skills you need for a progressive career. You will hear first-hand the challenges ACAs faced throughout their career and take away with you techniques to overcome barriers. There will also be CV clinics and interview coaching consultations throughout the evening.
By popular request, the live panel: tackling the difficult interview questions will be taking place again this year. Exhibitions will complement the evening giving you the opportunity to connect with employers within the finance and accounting profession.

Claire Brandon, Talent Acquisition Solutions Manager, ICAEW
Claire has worked in the recruitment industry for over six years, starting out in a specialist finance and accountancy agency and progressing to Talent Acquisition Solutions Manager at ICAEW since June 2016. Throughout her career, Claire has interviewed hundreds of finance professionals, ranging from newly qualified to CFO level, and has helped them secure their next dream role in both business and practice. She is able to advise on interview technique and offer general advice to tackle difficult, competency based interview questions.
Deborah trained in financial services with PwC before moving into investment banking and venture capital for tech start-ups.
Deborah is an experienced Audit Committee chair and non-executive director in areas of healthcare, education, housing and financial services
Margaret currently works as a Reward Specialist /Consultant within the world of Human Resources. She has enjoyed a career of over 20 years working within Human Resources for the Financial Services, Investment Banking sector, where she has held a number of senior positions, ranging from senior HR management to heading up International Benefits teams, with medium to large sized Investment Banks within the City
Margaret is currently enjoying a Consultancy career where she is able to specialise in International Benefits and Reward across UK, the rest of Europe and APAC regions, allowing her to work more flexibly and achieve a satisfactory work/life balance.
