Ros Martin started her career with the Inland Revenue and qualified as a Fully Trained Inspector. This was followed by spells in Large Business Office and as a Local District Inspector dealing with all aspects of direct tax. Leaving in 2000, she has her own training and consultancy business. The training involved CPD seminars, exam training and mentoring and bespoke inhouse training. It has even included training HMRC. The consultancy involves advising accountants and businesses on all planning aspects of direct tax and SDLT giving a practical aspect to the training provided.
