Chris Warren, DeloitteChris is a tax partner with over 30 years UK and international tax experience. He has been the quality and risk leader for the Tax & Legal practice of Deloitte in the UK since 2014, which includes responsibility for the practice’s compliance with applicable law, regulation and professional standards. Prior to his current role, Chris was an M&A partner advising a range of private equity and strategic clients. Chris is a member of the ICAEW Tax Policy and Reputation committee.
Owen Gibbs, DeloitteOwen is a Director within Deloitte’s Financial Services Tax practice, based in London. His specialisms are in operational tax compliance, with a particular specialism in FATCA and CRS. Owen also advises businesses on the effective integration of tax risk and governance requirements – including the new DAC6 requirements. He has previously worked on a number of Deloitte's largest projects advising global businesses. These have included delivering impact assessments, implementing new processes/technology, running managed services, integrating control processes and delivering training programmes.
James Marshall, HMRCJames joined HMRC in 2012 working on income tax and corporation tax compliance. He has experience of counter-avoidance work as well as dealing with the tax affairs of small, mid-size and large businesses. He has been working in tax policy for three years on measures including corporate loss reform and transferable tax history for the oil industry. He currently works on the International Collaboration and Transparency team where he is the policy lead for the implementation of DAC 6 in the UK.
