In May 2020, the IASB issued an amendment to the standard to help lessees account for COVID-19 related rent-concessions while continuing to provide useful information to investors. Joining this webinar will ensure you are familiar with the detail of this latest development, effective from 1 June 2020 but also available to any financial statements not yet authorised for issue.
Avni Mashru, Partner at PwC and Chris Biggs, Managing Director of Theta Financial Reporting will share their knowledge and experience gained as clients have implemented this new standard. Common pitfalls and tricky areas will be explored, with tips on how to address them.
