Event Information

BEIS, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, recently published their long awaited Energy White Paper, which sets out the UK's ambitions for zero-carbon in the year when the UK hosts COP26. This webinar will consider the implications for the ENR sector, from the perspectives of energy supply, nuclear, hydrogen and COP26.

An expert panel will consider the nature and extent of the policy and ambition, and assess the implications for UK energy in the context of the climate emergency, and what the white paper means for policy and our sector, with particular reference to finance and accounting.

Key benefits

  • Learn how your organisation can link its strategy to the UK Energy Goals as well as the UN Global Goals
  • Finance mangers will be able to consider what to do now to make changes for the future
  • Understand the alignment of investment decisions with emerging policy

Recovery from the worldwide economic crisis brought about by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will be piece-meal but informed by initiatives from around the world. While national government schemes will continue to support business and practice during the immediate crisis, international action will help shape the recovery. Here we track those supra-national activities.
