Please note that this guidance will only be relevant to pensionable work completed in England.
During this webinar, the Primary Care Support England (PCSE) Communications team will showcase new functionality that will be added to PCSE Online on 01 June 2021. This allows for the submission of Type 1 and Type 2 certificates, ability to update joiners and leavers, submission of Annual Estimates and all Locum GP Pension administration.
As of Q4 2019, all GPs have a PCSE Online account to manage their Performers List administration, which links directly to their GP Pensions administration. The new functionality for GP Pensions administration gives the GP Pensions scheme member full visibility of their current and historic administration. Currently GPs are able to see that they are linked to the correct practice and submit a change to update this when needed. They will soon be able to see their Pensions history including any missing years, with the ability to complete and submit these in PCSE Online, meaning their Total Rewards Statement can be refreshed by NHS Pensions in August.
The team will cover basics such as how the screens will look and the features of the system as well as how each of the administration tasks feed through to one another. For example, the Locum A forms can be used to compile a Locum B form with a few simple clicks and the Locum earnings automatically pull through to the end of year certificates.
Practices have full control of who has access to their GP Pensions processes in PCSE Online, meaning they can delegate access to accountants who will be able to assist practices with processing.
This webinar will guide you through each of the areas so you are familiar with its layout and capabilities so that you can best support your clients who work in Primary Care.
This webinar will undoubtedly benefit those who work within the healthcare industry.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to have their questions answered at the end of the webinar. The team will use your questions to create and publish a set of Frequently Asked Questions ahead of the launch of the new GP Pensions functionality.
Ryan Taylor, CapitaRyan has several years experience in Primary Care communications. He has also produced a suite of guides and videos to support the launch of both GP Payments and GP Pensions functionality in PCSE Online and is best placed to demonstrate how the system works and incorporate any questions and feedback into the guides ahead of the launch of the service.
