This webinar will follow a pan-profession webinar hosted by R3 in conjunction with ICAEW, the IPA and ICAS on 27 April 2021 about the forthcoming pre-pack reforms.
ICAEW’s webinar on 12 May will briefly highlight the key changes from the new legislation and cover in detail the common defaults ICAEW’s Quality Assurance Department (QAD) sees when reviewing IPs’ SIP 16 reports.
Allison Broad, Senior Manager, ICAEW Allison heads up the insolvency monitoring team. She is a chartered accountant and passed the JIEB in 1998. Prior to moving into a compliance role in 2000, Allison was a senior manager at Coopers & Lybrand / PricewaterhouseCoopers where she dealt with a range of insolvency appointments. Outside work, Allison enjoys running and cycling.
Alison Morgan, Manager, Insolvency, ICAEW Alison started her insolvency career at KPMG LLP in 1997 after studying a Law with French degree at Leicester and Strasbourg Universities. She qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant three years later and passed JIEB in 2001. After almost ten years at KPMG LLP, she joined an engineering group, originally as management accountant and then as group FC. She returned to the insolvency profession in 2008 as a director and appointment-taking IP before joining ICAEW’s Quality Assurance Department in 2011. Following managerial promotion in 2014, she sat and came first in CPI in 2015 and also passed ICAEW’s Certificate in Insolvency in the same year. She’s a regular speaker for ICAEW and R3 and is as passionate about the insolvency profession and raising standards in it, as she is about sport. When not working or in lockdown, you may find her at Welford Road watching Leicester Tigers, or at any cricket ground in the world watching England. During current travel restrictions, she is writing a book and polishing her French and Spanish.
