Gonzalo Munoz, UN High Level Climate Champion for COP25Appointed by the Chilean presidency and the United Nations as High Level Climate Champion for the 25th Conference of the Parties (COP25) of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change, to mobilize climate action in non-state actors around the world. Previously, he co-founded and led TriCiclos, one of the most recognized Latin American companies in circular economy and recycling. Inspired by 10 years of running traditional food businesses where he witnessed the waste generated by the private sector, he set out to offer a transformative service that would help the environment while being financially sustainable. Using his entrepreneurial and business knowledge, he redirected his efforts towards the ideals and passion for sustainability and the environment. Today, TriCiclos operates in 13 countries in Latin America, where its mission is to foster new designs and business models for a world without waste. TriCiclos was also the first company to be certified as a B company outside North America. Gonzalo co-founded Sistema B and is a board member of BLab global. He is currently an advisor to the National Water, Green Hydrogen, Electromobility and Circular Economy Committees.
Max Forshaw, Associate, Climate Risk and Decarbonisation, KPMGMax is an associate in KPMG’s climate risk and decarbonisation practice. His work involves advising leading corporates, banks and investors on how to reduce carbon emissions and become resilient to the impacts of climate change. Beyond the day-to-day, Max sits on the steering committee of the Young Energy Professionals forum and is passionate about helping future leaders engage with climate change through their careers. His academic background is in data science and environmental policy, which he regularly applies with clients to analyse the low carbon transition.Kathryn Haynes, Professor of Accounting, Northumbria UniversityKathryn is interested in the powerful role of accounting within society, particularly in relation to the interaction of equality and sustainability. Her research, published in leading accounting journals, addresses gender and diversity, the circular economy, and accountability. During her career, she has taken on numerous leadership roles in universities, been an active member of the ICAEW’s Sustainability Committee, conducted research funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) on the Sustainable Development Goals, and been Co-facilitator of the United Nations Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) Gender Equality Working Group.

She is Co-Founder and Activist in Residence at B Lab UK and Co-Chairs B Lab’s Global Climate Taskforce. She is also Social Entrepreneur in Residence at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford where she designed and teaches an MBA elective on Regenerative and Circular Economy and has contributed to the new MBA core class ‘Capitalism in Debate’. She is also the Co-Director for the newly launched Oxford Climate Emergency Programme. Charmian’s areas of focus include the rise of profit and purpose business, regenerative and circular economic models, ‘Systempreneurship’, ‘Cocktail Careers’ and how to mobilise a ‘Movement of Movements’. She firmly believes that Accountants Will Save the World.Jeremy Nicholls, Director and Founder, Social Value InternationalJeremy is an accountant who sees accountancy as both part of the problem but also part of tbe solution to sustainable development. He co-founded the membership organisation Social Value International developing standards for accounting for social and environmental impact. He currently works for the UNDP developing the assurance framework for the SDG Impact Standards, is an ambassador for the Capitals Coalition and a visiting Professor of Social Value at Staffordshire University. Jeremy originally qualified as a chartered accountant, including time as the Finance Director for Tanzania Railways.
Liv Watson, Senior Director, Strategic Customer Initiatives, Workiva Inc.
For the past 10 years, Liv has served as the Senior Director of Strategic Customer Initiatives at Workiva Inc., which has served over 70% of fortune 500 companies and more than 200 EU companies with their statutory reporting requirements. As the co-founder of XBRL and the XBRL International consortium, Liv works globally with leading market regulators, accounting associations and institutions. She has held several speaking engagements on financial and business reporting standards, its benefits, potential applications and adoption in corporate governance and social responsibility reporting. Liv has also held several leadership positions related to XBRL, including as a member of the IFRS XBRL Advisory Committee, the XBRL International Steering Committee and the XBRL Standing Committee.
