Event Information

With the climate agenda becoming a growing consideration in the accounting profession, internal audit has a part to play in driving action. This event will explore what TCFD means to organisations and how internal auditors must develop their skills to help their organisations adapt. Aimed primarily at internal auditors within medium to large businesses, this session will provide insights to help improve how they plan for and mitigate against relevant risks, and how they assess climate-related changes and build resilience.

The speakers will discuss the role that internal audit will play in driving action on climate change within organisations. In addition, they will examine what skills and expertise internal auditors must be prepared to develop to achieve this.
