If you are managing an advisory business, you will gain crucial nsights into how to attract and retain the next generation of deals advisors by hearing from young associates about why they moved into the sector, whether it’s meeting expectations and how they envisage their future career.
If you are just starting out in the profession, you will learn how you can position yourself for a successful career, by hearing from experienced practitioners the skills gaps being created by remote working, building culture and team spirit and what role offshoring might play in the future of deals teams.
Key talking points will include:
• Is the Middle East corporate finance advisory sector leaking talent? • How attractive is corporate finance advisory as an early career opportunity? • What skills gaps are created by the prevalence of remote working in corporate finance advisory, and how can they best be filled when opportunities to observe colleague interaction and client engagement are limited?• What combination of face to face engagement and remote working do clients expect? • How can advisory and legal firms develop strong and enduring team spirit and culture when face to face is not the norm. Will employers become commoditised? • How should employers sell the profession to young people, ensure quality of work and build future leaders?• Can offshoring provide an attractive and sustainable balance of staff cost and quality of work?
