About the speakers

Philomena Chen, Head of Asia Pacific/Smart Cities Lead, Department for International Trade
The UK Department for International Trade (DIT) supports UK exporters and foreign investors through a global office network. Philomena is the Head of Asia Pacific for DIT’s North West of England and one of 50 strong team that provides one-to-one advice for existing and potential exporters, along with a wide range of trade events and activity. Philomena is the Head of Asia Pacific for North West England responsible for the strategy for Asia Pacific including China and leads in technology/smart cities. A leading expert in international trade, she assists business across industries and sectors on market strategy, implementation and export growth in global markets. She is an experienced Mission Leader leading on the region and the Northern Powerhouse trade mission programmes to Greater China and South East Asia. Philomena is the creator of the Greater China Awards and China Bites programme for the North of England. Philomena has over 30 years working with commercial companies and in government organisations in South East Asia and in the UK. She started her career in education, then moved to commercial sectors in finance, human resource management, sales & marketing and held senior management roles. Philomena has developed strong networks and strategic partnerships in the globe over the years in international trade. She is a multi-lingual speaker, gained a postgradDip in Human Resource Management and holds an MBA from the UK.

Kristina Koehler-Coluccia is Head of Business Advisory at Woodburn Accountants
Krisinta is a leading expert on inbound investment in China with 17 years’ experience in corporate services and compliance in China. She is a respected speaker on the topic and author of hundreds of publications on investment into China. Kristina has worked with over 50 international companies across industries and sectors on their market strategies, implementation and growth in China.

 

Jessica Zhang, China Market Business Adviser, China-Britain Business Council 
Jessica joined China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) in 2006 in the Manchester office. She has over 15 years extensive experience working with hundreds of UK companies expanding their business in China and forming China strategic partnerships in both public and private sector. Jessica has worked in various positions in both UK and China, her experience ranges from energy projects in China, higher education institutions in the UK and working as a researcher and operations manager at the British Embassy in Beijing. Jessica has an MSc in Management Science and CIM certificate.
