Charity Accounting, Reporting and Governance Autumn Update
This webinar will explore key charity accounting, reporting and governance developments relevant for charity auditors and independent examiners, and finance professionals who work in or volunteer for charities. In particular, it will help Trustees and charity practitioners to plan for reporting periods falling in late 2022 and spring / summer 2023. We will also look at the progress being made with the next revision of the Charity SORP, as well as the International Financial Reporting for Non Profit Organisations (IFR4NPO) initiative.
The webinar will highlight key messages from the Charity Commission’s investigations and monitoring work in the period, as well as the tools and opportunities available to support UK charity Trustees and their auditors / examiners. Sally will develop the session in the context of sector challenges at the time of the webinar, and she will draw on relevant practical examples.
The session will include opportunities for participants to submit questions for Sally to address during the webinar, and as part of the live Q&A session at the end.
Suitable for: Finance professionals working in or advising charities.
