In this webinar hosted by the Construction & Real Estate Community we take a fresh look at modern methods of construction (MMC). Brexit and Covid-19 have undeniably had a massive impact on the construction sector giving rise to staffing shortages, supply chains breaking down, huge increases in costs of timber and steel and additional health and safety requirements. At the same time the sector has to hit big sustainability and net zero targets.
The reasons for adopting MMC are compelling, but what does the market look like in Autumn 2021? Joining this webinar are experts in the field of MMC as we look to see how new methods of construction will play out across different sectors.
Jonathan Finnerty ACA, MD of Green Unit, is a passionate advocate for MMC and the sustainability benefits it brings. Dan Brown, an architect specialising in MMC will share an update on practical applications of design and technology and from the research department at Savills, Kevin Mofid and Richard Valentine-Selsey will give an update on the benefits of offsite construction and a market appraisal.
During this live and interactive webinar, you will have opportunities to clarify and discuss the impact of MMC with these experts.
• Insight into practical applications of MMC• Awareness of the opportunities and pitfalls• Areas of focus when risk assessing projects
