The event will explore issues with which IPs may have to deal when appointed over an energy supplier or over its suppliers.
For IPs that may not deal with such insolvencies, it is of general interest as a sector attracting press and Government commentary.
It may also provide some useful tips when dealing with the press, public, and sectors where the public are customers.
Allan Kelly, Partner, FRP Advisory Allan has over 25 years restructuring experience. He has acted as Administrator and/or Liquidator to several domestic electric and gas suppliers, and as an advisor to power wholesalers and also for a number for potential acquirers. His sector experience is wide ranging, and outside of energy includes manufacturing, retail, food and beverage, and construction.
Matt Higgins, Director, FRP AdvisoryMatt has acted as Liquidator and/or Administrator across a number of electric and gas supply companies and advised a number of their stakeholders. Matt has specialised in restructuring since 2004, following over 20 years working within banking and invoice finance. His sector experience outside of energy includes charity and not-for-profit, manufacturing, construction, logistics and casual dining.
Andrew Dyson, Manager, FRP Advisory
Andrew joined FRP in 2020 as a Manager in the FRP Restructuring Advisory team. He is a qualified Insolvency Practitioner and has worked in restructuring and corporate insolvency since 2010. Andrew has worked on assignments involving businesses across a variety of industries. He provides advisory services to businesses at all stages of the corporate lifecycle and has considerable experience in dealing with formal insolvency procedures for distressed businesses.
