Peter is the managing director of 123 Sheets, overseeing all aspects of services provided. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. Prior to founding 123 Sheets in 2016, Peter had his own accountancy firm in Guildford for eight years with a town centre office and four members of staff. His practice was built using excel bookkeeping files for clients up to £10 million turnover, which ensured faster compliance bookkeeping and year-end accounts processes compared to similar practices using desktop or online software, making the practice highly profitable.
Peter is known for his knowledgeable, yet practical approach to interpreting the Making Tax Digital legislation as it applies to accountants and their clients. He is able to explain adeptly how those using spreadsheets can make an orderly transition to Making Tax Digital. Peter has been an entrepreneur in the software development industry since 2009.
