This course aims to keep accountants in practice up to date with developments in taxation over the last 6 months. There will be a focus on the practical implications for clients of recent and upcoming tax changes to enable delegates to be pro-active in their advice.
This course is particularly relevant to delegates working in General Practice as well as those working in tax departments who need to keep themselves up to date with the latest developments in taxation.

**BBH COURSE VOUCHER SCHEME
Five pre-purchased electronic course vouchers are available for ICAEW members to purchase. Once purchased, ICAEW members may allocate their use to non-members if they choose.
The 2023-2024 vouchers are available to purchase from 1 October 2022 for £360 + VAT and are valid to use on BBH half-day courses taking place until 31 March 2024
Vouchers can be purchased using a credit or debit card at icaew.com/bbhcoursevouchers. A unique code will be issued which can be redeemed when booking online against five half-day places on BBHSCA courses. Vouchers can only be purchased by ICAEW members, but can be redeemed by any individual, including all staff.

Martyn Ingles BSc, FCA, CTA
Martyn Ingles qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and became an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1983.
After 11 years preparing students for their tax exams he returned to professional practice in 1997, later becoming a partner with a medium sized firm. He is now a Consultant with MacIntyre Hudson Advisory Services LLP. Martyn’s main area of interest is tax planning for the family business, in particular tax efficient remuneration, exit planning and restructuring. He lectures on this and other taxation issues to accountants and other professionals as well as running his own tax consultancy.

Exit at junction 10 and follow signs for Hitchin (A505). Entrance is signposted soon after the Butterfield roundabout.
Exit at junction 8 and follow signs for A602 to Hitchin. Then follow signs for Luton (A505). Entrance is signposted just before the Butterfield roundabout.
Luton (Thameslink and East Midlands Railway) and Hitchin (Great Northern) are the nearest railway stations.
There are 150 free parking spaces which are available for conference delegates.
Delegates who attend both the physical morning and afternoon Tax and Financial reporting updates will be provided with a free lunch.
Refreshments will also be provided on arrival and again mid-way through each course.
CANCELLATIONS AND LATE BOOKINGSIf you cannot attend you can transfer your place to another individual. Places can be transferred at any time up to and including the day of the event.
Cancellations received less than 14 days before the event date will not be refunded. All cancellations must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org
If BBHSCA cancels the event, the liability in the event of cancellation is limited to a full refund of the fee.
If a booking is received less than 7 days before the course, the delegate may not get a copy of the notes on the day.
