ICAEW Midlands: Senior finance business professionals insight forum dates

These sessions will provide an opportunity for you, as a senior finance business professional, to discuss your experiences of current business and economic challenges.

For members to capture insight, share experiences, gain support from fellow senior finance business professionals as sometimes being an FD in a firm can be lonely without a finance team.

Members from larger businesses have the opportunity to hear from similar sized businesses and gain clarity on local issues.

Insights from these discussions are gathered and, where appropriate, fed back to ICAEW’s senior leadership team. They will also be included in local conversations with the other relevant stakeholders like the West Midlands Combined Authority and local enterprise partnerships.

There is no charge to attend. Sessions are not recorded.

These sessions are chaired by Liz Whitfield, ACA, Director at Growth Plans Ltd and Non- Executive Director at Hanley Economic Building Society. There will be no charge to attend.

Liz Whitfield, Director, Growth Plans Ltd

Liz is a high energy, high impact professional with 20+ years experience in the finance industry. A consummate professional, she is well known and well regarded, combining strong people skills with rigorous financial training. She brings a unique style to the Boardroom table.

Liz qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992, before specialising in Corporate Finance. Her career has spanned Big 4 and mid-tier accountancy firms as well as the ABL industry.

In more recent years, Liz has gained qualifications as a Licensed Practitioner of Insights Discovery, NLP Practitioner and Business Coach.
