Speakers

John Tennent, Corporate Edge: Provides a wide range of our portfolio business courses though specialises in strategic financial planning, business modelling and investment appraisal. His background is i finance starting his career as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche in 1983. He went on to become the Financial Controller of a US bank before joining a training consultancy as Client Director. He co-founded Corporate Edge in 1996.

He is the author of the Economist Guide to Business Modelling, the Economist Guide to Financial Management and the Economist Guide to Cash Management. He is a member of the ICAEW Excel Community Advisory Group.

Ian Pay, Head of Data Analytics & Tech, ICAEW: Is ICAEW's Head of Data Analytics and Tech, looking at the role that analytics and technology solutions play in the profession. Prior to this, Ian worked for over 10 years at PwC in Data Analytics, specialising in External Audit and Data Acquisition and developing robust and automated ETL processes to support the firm’s award-winning Halo suite of applications. Ian also played an active role in the development and delivery of training courses, with digital upskilling being an area he is particularly passionate about. He has previously trained as a secondary school teacher and a musician.
