David O’Keeffe FCA CTA (Fellow)David is an independent specialist adviser on the taxation of innovation, advising companies and other advisers on R&D tax relief, Patent Box and Creative Industry Reliefs. He is a member of the London Society of Chartered Accountants’ tax committee as well as CIOT’s Corporation Tax Technical Committee (and chairs the R&D Working Group of that committee). Formerly a Tax Partner with KPMG LLP (UK), David left in 2011 to establish Aiglon Consulting.
Richard Jones, Technical Manager, Business Tax, ICAEWRichard joined ICAEW’s Tax Faculty in November 2020. Alongside his colleague, Angela Clegg, he coordinates the work of the faculty on business tax and compliance & investigations matters, and manages the technical committees related to these areas. He makes regular contributions to ICAEW’s tax publications, including TAXline and Newswire and is a regular presenter of webinars and in-person events on business tax matters.
Richard began his tax career at PwC, dealing with a range of clients from small owner-managed businesses through to the UK operations of large multi-national banks, as well as spending time on secondment to the firm's learning and development team. He has spent most of his career in the National Tax teams of top 10 firms, dealing with knowledge management, training, tax standards reviews and other risk management matters. He has a broad range of tax technical expertise including the tax issues facing SMEs and their owners, R&D and innovation tax reliefs, capital allowances, loan relationships and corporate international tax issues.

Before joining ICAEW, Roz worked for a healthcare charity overseeing central operations for 35 hospitals across the UK.
