Event Information

The theme of the event is mental health, particularly in relation to the process of studying to become an accountant, which we understand can be a time full of stress, pressure and expectation.

The morning will include breakfast, a meditation session, breakout group activities, and insights form a team of highly experienced accountancy professionals who will be delving into their experiences and achievements, as well as how they take care of their own mental health and wellbeing. This will be followed by a Q&A session.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Birmingham Mind, a charity that provides help to people with mental health needs.

Nichola Whitehouse - Nichola is finance business partner at National Grid, and has previously worked as audit manager at Deloitte and head of finance at BritNed Ltd.

Andrew Price - Andrew is a financial controller at Besidorf, with 5 years auditing experience at KPMG including 2 years specialising in data analytics.
