This live webinar will provide an introduction to reporting under the UK’s Climate-related Financial Disclosure Regulations.
Introduced to help support informed investor decisions as the UK progresses towards a low carbon economy, companies are increasingly encouraged to embed climate-change considerations into all aspects of managing a business.
Effective for accounting periods beginning on or after 6 April 2022, the regulations require companies and LLPs within scope to disclose information about their governance, risk management, strategy, and metrics and targets in relation to climate-related matters.
Aimed at those required to implement the regulations for the first time, the webinar will provide an overview of the key requirements alongside practical tips on how to get started with reporting. The webinar will also be of benefit to those on a growth trajectory who may fall in scope in the near future or those looking to start reporting voluntarily.
The wider reporting context in which the UK regulations sit, plus how they relate with forthcoming International Sustainability Disclosure Standards will also be covered.
