ICAEW’s autumn roadshows are always popular events. For 2023 these will again be hosted by webinar in one hour bite-sized sessions.

The full roadshow programme includes legal and compliance updates, a session presented by our Quality Assurance Department’s insolvency senior manager and manager, and a session on current issues in relation to Redundancy Payments Service (RPS) claims.

This series of events will ensure that you are:

• aware of the current insolvency and compliance hot topics.
• up to date with recent corporate and personal legal cases affecting IPs.
• aware of the topical issues relating to RPS claims and concerns, in particular, the claims made by directors, often supported by claims management companies, and testing employee status. Senior officials from the Insolvency Service will talk delegates through the process used to assess eligibility and discuss some of the recent court judgements in this space.

CPD hours

ICAEW’s CPD Regulations are changing. From 1 November 2023, members and other professionals regulated by ICAEW will need to complete a minimum number of hours’ CPD per year, some of which will need to be verifiable. Attending events like this could contribute to four hours of verifiable CPD (or an hour per roadshow), so long as you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.
