CPD hours

ICAEW’s CPD Regulations are changing. From 1 November 2023, members and other professionals regulated by ICAEW will need to complete a minimum number of hours’ CPD per year, some of which will need to be verifiable. Attending events like this could contribute to one hour of verifiable CPD, so long as you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.

About the speakers

	Dave Weller, Non-Profit, Sage Intacct Dave worked in senior positions in banks, both in the UK and Asia, before joining Sage Intacct in 2021. Dave works as part of the team dedicated to charity and nonprofits, helping organisations with their digital transformation projects and moving their systems to cloud based solutions.
	Hobby Dean, Non-Profit Solution Consultant, Sage Intacct Having worked in a variety of industries and in many roles, Hobby sees the immense pressure that Charities are under in the current climate where the services they provide are becoming more vital than ever. It is using the right data, in the right format and the right time utilising various technologies, and collaboration that charities may be able to serve more with less.
	Pascal Bodemeijer, Finance Management, Bodewell Consulting Pascal has obtained degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Latin America Studies which lead her to work for a human rights organisation in Central America between 2010 and 2014. There she got involved with the financial management of different projects and upon her return to Europe decided to retrain as a financial account and dedicate herself to the non-profit sector in that capacity. Benefiting from 360° exposure to financial management within the sector, now ACCA qualified and understanding the challenges faced, Pascal is driven by a desire to build strong organisations with systems in place that allow for pro-active implementation of strategies and informed risk-taking.
