Effective for accounting periods beginning on or after 6 April 2022, the UK’s Climate-related Financial Disclosure Regulations 2022 require companies and LLPs within scope to disclose information about their governance, risk management, strategy and metrics and targets in relation to climate-related matters.
This webinar will highlight the disclosures expected of organisations applying the requirements for the first time and will include examples of best practice.

Tiaan supports clients in all their reporting requirements, ensuring the usefulness of the information presented, whilst considering their wider business. Tiaan’s previous experience includes assisting clients with their first-time reporting on sustainability, such as TCFD, as well as enhancing existing reporting and processes.Tiaan has cross-industry experience on a wide variety of clients (from small, family-owned entities to large multinational corporations). Tiaan started his career in audit, transitioning to and specialising in reporting advisory.Tiaan is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the ICAEW’s Non-Financial Reporting Committee.
Laura Gardner, Associate Director, Grant Thornton
Laura leads Grant Thornton’s climate and sustainability reporting offering within the UK and supports clients in their application of financial and sustainability reporting standards whilst considering their wider business objectives. Laura’s previous experience includes assisting businesses with preparing to report on sustainability reporting standards, such as TCFD, for the first time and the development and delivering of tailored sustainability reporting training.
Laura was previously a Senior Manager in Audit and has experience auditing a wide variety of complex and international groups, including entities which were private equity backed and listed.
Laura is a member of the ICAEW Non Financial Reporting Committee.
