About the speakers

Anne Warner, Senior Manager, Deloitte Anne is an experienced senior manager in Deloitte’s National Accounting and Audit team, specialising in corporate reporting. She provides technical advice and guidance on narrative and sustainability reporting, UK company law, UK GAAP and IFRS to audit and assurance teams across the firm as well as developing technical guidance for Deloitte’s GAAP manual and other thought leadership publications. In addition to her work at Deloitte, Anne has previously worked in ICAEW’s Technical Advisory Service, where she advised other chartered accountants on a wide range of technical and ethical issues, and at Croner-i as senior technical writer and author of several publications on UK GAAP and UK company law.

Patrick Leach, Senior Manager, PwC Patrick is a Corporate Reporting specialist at PwC with a specific focus on strategic and governance reporting. Patrick leads the process for PwC’s annual Building Public Trust Award for excellence in reporting in the FTSE 350, using this knowledge to inform PwC's clients on reporting practices and to help them develop their own reporting to be as effective and engaging as possible for their stakeholders.

CPD hours

ICAEW CPD regulations are changing. From 1 November 2023, members and other professionals regulated by ICAEW will need to complete a minimum number of hours' CPD per year, some of which will need to be verifiable. Attending events like this could contribute to 1 hour of CPD, so long as you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.
