Event information

Excel & PowerPoint MVP & YouTuber David Benaim will show how to choose and use the best visuals for your context, such as some little known built in PowerPoint/Excel charts conducive to storytelling (waterfall, funnel, map, Pareto, and box & whisker charts) as well as embedding interactive Power BI visuals into PowerPoint, and non-chart alternatives to displaying data. David will explain how to link Excel and PowerPoint effectively and manage issues, and introduce Sway, a Microsoft 365 app built for asynchronous presentations.

Many presentation techniques we’ve learned over the last few decades don’t work as well for online presentations. David will showcase built in features within online meeting software (such as Zoom, Teams or Google Meet) that will boost audience retention in both the way that you present and the rarely used tools within the software, in particular when it comes to audience retention of data related topics.
