Event information

In this webinar, Crowe’s Naziar Hashemi will outline the key principles of good board conversations about finance, and explain how this can be achieved even with varying levels of financial knowledge amongst your trustees.

Then, experienced charity leader James Abbott will share his experience of presenting financial information and leading conversations about finance, especially during periods of change. The experience will be shared as practical tips and tricks, which can be applied directly in your charity.

This session is for anyone who regularly presents financial items at charity board meetings. It will help you think about not just how you present financial information, but how you lead and facilitate effective two-way conversations in order to support good decision making.

Key benefits

The session will provide you with some strategies which will help you:

  • Present complex financial information to trustees.
  • Lead great two-way conversations with your board about finance.
  • Apply these principles during periods of change, where good Board conversations become even more important.
