Event information

AI technologies, including Gen AI, are redefining working practices and have become a focal point for organisations and policymakers. The rapid integration of Gen AI into business functions has made risk management a priority – for the business and for internal audit.

Internal audit must balance efficiency with the need to validate accuracy and ensure results are free from bias or misinterpretation. Functions need to be prepared to provide assurance over AI enabled processes and workflows, while also determining how to evolve their own practices and methodologies.

There seems little doubt that over time AI will revolutionise internal audit. But there are many pitfalls and challenges to navigate. Trust is central to internal audit’s credibility and mandate. Balancing these competing tensions with agility is critical to the profession.

Key benefits of attending this webinar:

  • Introduction
  • Legal and regulatory environment and developments in AI
  • Business risk management considerations – the view of a BISO / CISO
  • Leading from the front – first hand internal audit experience of AI
  • Building trust and human connections in a digital world with AI
  • Q&A
