Event information

Understand why nature is increasingly becoming a strategic priority for businesses - and how the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework can help you to build business resilience and value through the integration of nature into strategy and reporting.

Bringing together speakers from the TNFD secretariat and practitioners from business and finance, this webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the TNFD framework, combined with a focus on practical strategies to help you get started.

Attendees will gain understanding of how the TNFD sits in the wider regulatory and reporting landscape and the business case for action, as well as practical insights into the role that accounting and finance professionals can play in turning it into practice.

Key benefits

  • Build your knowledge and fluency on key concepts, for example, on nature and biodiversity, nature-related risks and opportunities, and the business case for action.
  • Hear from the TNFD and other experts to help enhance your understanding of the TNFD recommendations and guidance, in terms of why it matters to business and finance, and what it means to your role and day-to-day practices.
  • Help you to get started on applying the TNFD recommendations and guidance within your organisation, with real-world examples illustrating best practices, pitfalls and success factors from experts and practitioners.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement.
