The webinar will be focused on the topic of sexism in the workplace inspired by the recent parliamentary inquiry on "Sexism in the City," Expert speakers will delve into the systemic factors of sexism and explore strategies for creating safer, more inclusive workplaces.

About the speakers

Alesha De-Freitas, Head of Policy, Advocacy and Research, Fawcett Society
Alesha is Head of Policy, Research, and Advocacy at the Fawcett Society, the UK’s only member-powered organisation working to end sexism and misogyny in all its forms. She joined Fawcett in February 2023, before this she worked in the Civil Service for 15 years on economic policy, most recently as Deputy Director for Competition Policy. She is a passionate advocate for removing the barriers to women succeeding in the workplace. 

Marcia Dyce, Communities Manager, Diversity & Belonging, ICAEW
Marcia is a dedicated professional who plays a pivotal role at the ICAEW. As the Communities Manager – Diversity and Belonging, she orchestrates various networking events, webinars, and workshops, fostering connections among ICAEW’s diverse membership. Marcia is passionate about promoting inclusivity and diversity within the organisation. Notably, she manages key communities such as Diversity and Inclusion, Women in Finance, Young Members, and Career Breakers. Marcia’s initiative in establishing the Black Members Community underscores her commitment to positive change and advocacy.

CPD hours
