Alison Dungworth, Portfolio Career Mentor, Executive Finance Trainer & Consultant
Alison has a portfolio career which she started to build over 15 years ago, at a time when this approach was far from mainstream. Following an early career in FTSE 50, US quoted and large corporates, she moved to the SME sector as a full-time FD. After identifying that many SMEs needed (and could only afford) part-time support and with a desire for an alternative working lifestyle, she began her portfolio journey. Initially a part-time FD, using her experience she now mentors finance professionals transitioning to a portfolio career and is ICAEW’s Special Advisor to the Portfolio Careers Community. Alison also provides consultancy services to SMEs and coaches non finance professionals in the understanding of financial information. Alison brings her commercial experience together with a deep empathy for supporting others to her mentoring and coaching work.
