About the speakers

Altaf Jasnaik, Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, MANAGEMEND
Altaf is an award-winning Innovation Advocate, Neurodivergent Futurist, #Responsible AI Evangelist, & Family Business Continuity Specialist, obsessed with democratising singularity & making the CV obsolete. He is currently developing bespoke RAGai & GENbi solutions for the world of consulting, finance, law, immigration, media & medical trials.

Dr Florian Ostmann, Head of AI Governance and Regulatory Innovation, and Policy Fellow, The Alan Turing Institute
FlorianOstmann is Head of AI Governance and Regulatory Innovation within the Turing's public policy programme. His work focuses on regulation and non-regulatory governance mechanisms related to data and AI as well as on the use of data science and AI to facilitate the work of regulatory bodies. His broader research interests include the ethical implications of emerging technologies, the use of data science and AI to address societal challenges, health policy, and corporate responsibility (with a focus on business and human rights). Recent work led by Florian includes a report examining questions of responsible AI innovation in financial services (commissioned by the Financial Conduct Authority) and a project on the use of data to address modern slavery risks in the investment context. 

Esther Mallowah, Head of Tech Policy, ICAEW
Esther is ICAEW’s Head of Technology Policy, responsible for influencing Technology policy to enable businesses, accountants and society to harness the benefits of technology while limiting harm. Prior to joining ICAEW, she worked in technology internal and external audit roles, focussing on information and cyber security and operational resilience. She is also a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant having gained her qualification whilst at Deloitte.

Peter van Veen, Director of Corporate Governance & Stewardship, ICAEW
Peter is the Director of Corporate Governance & Stewardship at the ICAEW where he is responsible for thought leadership and policy in these areas. Prior to joining ICAEW, he was the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for several multinational enterprises headquartered in respectively the Netherlands, France and Japan. Prior to these roles, Peter spent over six years at Transparency International UK (TI-UK) where he set up the Business Integrity Programme.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. Attending this webinar could contribute up to 1 hour of verifiable CPD, providing you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.
