As an area of supervisory focus for the FRC for 2024/2025, we share hints and tips from experts in practice on how you can strengthen and improve your work on cash flow statements.

We will help you understand the root causes of common errors and weaknesses in the preparation of cash flow statements and their audit and how you can avoid these going forward.

About the speakers

Catriona Lawrie, Partner, Forvis Mazars Catriona is a partner in Forvis Mazars leading the Accounting Advisory Services department. She is a technical accounting specialist with a broad range of accounting expertise, covering IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP. She applies her knowledge of the application of accounting standards to assist clients in solving their financial reporting problems. Catriona is currently a member of ICAEW's Corporate Reporting Committee.

Hugh Morgan, Technical Director, RSM Hugh leads the London technical team and is primarily responsible for organising and carrying out engagement quality control reviews on listed and high-risk clients. Hugh is the chair of ICAEW’s Technical and Practical Auditing Committee.
