Ian Pay, ICAEW Head of Data Analytics and Tech and James Berridge, Director - Data Analytics, Saffery LLP, will be on hand to answer your Excel dilemmas with live Excel demonstrations.

They will cover best practice, the use of functions and functionality, application of Excel techniques to accounting scenarios, and anything else you want to know. Get your questions in and tune in to learn some new tips and tricks.

About the speakers

Ian Pay, Head of Data Analytics and Tech, ICAEW Looks at the role that analytics and technology solutions play in the profession. Prior to this, Ian worked for over 10 years at PwC in Data Analytics, specialising in External Audit and Data Acquisition and developing robust and automated ETL processes to support the firm’s award-winning Halo suite of applications. Ian also played an active role in the development and delivery of training courses, with digital upskilling being an area he is particularly passionate about. He has previously trained as a secondary school teacher and a musician.

James Berridge, Director - Data Analytics, Saffery LLP James is a director at Saffery looking after audit data analytics and technologies. Most of his career defining opportunities have been enabled by smart use of Excel and these days he’s a strong Power Query advocate.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. Attending this webinar could contribute up to 1hr of verifiable CPD, providing you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.
