About the speakers

Session Chair: Adelle Greenwood, Technical Manager - Tax, ICAEW
Adelle Greenwood joined the Tax Faculty as the Technical Manager for employment taxes and national insurance contributions (NIC) and as manager of the Employment Tax and NIC Committee. Adelle has worked in tax for approximately 20 years and has held employment tax and global mobility roles at PwC, KPMG and Global Tax Network.

Richard Maitland, Partner, MHA
Richard has 23 years’ experience in the field of human capital. He leads the national employment tax team within the MHA’s Human Capital Advisory practice, as well as specialising in national minimum wage issues.Richard has deep experience in the issues faced by employers across the key employment tax areas of payroll, expenses and benefits. He also specialises in employment tax status, an area which continues to present shifting and complex challenges to clients. Richard helps employers design and implement flexible benefits programmes that support their recruitment and retention agendas. Richard has also worked with clients across the retail, gig economy and business services sectors in the field of national minimum wage compliance.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. Attending this webinar could contribute up to 1 hour of verifiable CPD, providing you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.
