About the speaker

Oliver Kelly | Deputy Agent for East Midlands | Bank of England.

Oliver became a Deputy Agent for the East Midlands Agency in March 2025. He joined the Bank in 2022, focusing on financial stability policy, where he monitored the outlook for banking resilience and worked on the system-wide exploratory scenario.

Prior to joining the Bank, Oliver started his career in risk management at Barclays. He graduated with a BSc in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Oliver grew up in Northamptonshire and, outside of work, enjoys sports and travel.
