Why should I attend?

Our insight groups provide a valuable sounding board for your professional challenges and ideas. With no fixed agenda (unless requested), these sessions are designed to be flexible and participant-led. We encourage everyone to actively contribute by sharing experiences, suggesting topics, and discussing common challenges. The sessions are confidential and non-judgmental, offering you the freedom to speak openly, seek advice on pressing issues, and brainstorm solutions with supportive, like-minded professionals working across the sector.

These groups are an excellent opportunity to grow your network, exchange best practices, and gain fresh perspectives that can benefit both you and your organisation. Join us to share, learn, and support each other in navigating the unique challenges of the charity and not-for-profit sector.

Open to ICAEW members only. There is no charge to attend any of the sessions and all participants are very much encouraged to take an active part in the discussions, to bring their ideas, and to contribute to the setting of topics for future sessions. The group are often joined by a guest speaker and previous topics include:

  • Volunteer attraction & management
  • Latest sector statistics & analysis
  • Relationship management for charities
  • Current sector performance
