About the chairs

South East Chair

Sara Minchin | Sustainability and sustainable finance consultant

Sara Minchin is an experienced sustainability and sustainable finance consultant, passionate about finance sector's role in transition to climate and nature positive economy. Most recently Sara is working as a consultant for a collaborative engagement with a group of seafood investors (with assets of $6.5tr) and biodiversity focused NGOs and holds a non-executive director position with an European battery metals exploration company. She has recently completed an MBA (with honours) focusing on corporate sustainability.

Previously Sara has led sustainable finance policy advocacy, regulatory and standards work for WWF-UK and has worked within the finance sector for 19 years at 3i plc, KPMG and Deloitte. She is a chartered accountant and a fellow of ICAEW and has a BA in European Studies

London Chair

Gwen Ludlow | Senior Associate | Sustainability Team | ESG Reporting | PwC.

Gwen is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with 4 years’ experience in external audit and therefore provides deep insight into future assurance considerations to be incorporated into sustainability reporting decisions now. Gwen leverages this in her current role with PwC UK's Sustainability Team to provide expertise in ESG reporting advisory services to her clients; such as, assessing their existing sustainability reporting strategy to ensure that they are best positioned to respond to and anticipate ongoing developments with respect to ESG. Gwen also has a keen focus on ESG technology solutions which assist organisations to transform sustainably as well as building trust in the climate transition by developing credibility in non-financial and climate reporting. Gwen has developed tools in this area which automate aspects of clients’ infrastructure to achieve alignment with international regulatory frameworks and directives such as the TCFD, CSRD, and ISSB.
