Event information

All businesses depend on nature, yet it’s being depleted at an unprecedented rate, creating new risks and opportunities. Accountants will increasingly be needed to help measure, manage and communicate these impacts, including their financial implications.

ICAEW has been working with the Global Accounting Alliance to develop a new starter guide to nature for accountants, to build knowledge on nature and why it matters to the roles of accountants in business and practice, equipping them to lead and advise their organisations and clients effectively on this increasingly business-critical issue.

Whether you are a board member, an executive, report preparer, or assurer – join this webinar to discover how to start embedding nature into your work, navigate regulations with confidence and engage stakeholders effectively.

Key benefits

  • Build your knowledge on key concepts, for example, on nature and biodiversity, nature-related risks and opportunities, and the business case for action.
  • Understand why nature matters to your role and discover practical steps to get started.
  • Stay ahead of nature-related regulations and explore best practices.
  • Learn how to engage key stakeholders on nature e.g., internal teams, investors, regulators, and experts.
