Event Information

Hear from a range of speakers who will inform you about:

  • the latest common issues we are seeing on quality assurance monitoring reviews;
  • regulatory changes that have taken place this year; and
  • what to anticipate for the future.

There will also be time for you to put your questions to the team.

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. Attending this webinar could contribute up to 1 hour of verifiable CPD, providing you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.

About the speakers

Sophie Wales, Director of Regulatory Policy, ICAEW Professional Standards Department, ICAEW

Sophie leads PSD’s work overseeing the regulatory requirements that ICAEW members and firms must comply with. She also looks at new and emerging policy areas, and works with stakeholders to shape these policies.

Daniel White, Manager, Quality Assurance (Practice Assurance and Probate)

Dan White is a chartered accountant who joined ICAEW in 2017 from a top six firm. Dan has managed audit and PA visits, and more recently probate, to all sizes of UK firms and is responsible for internal quality control procedures for our PA visits. Dan has been a key contributor to the design of ICAEW’s monitoring approach.
