Emily Ball-Goldfinch | Corporate Services Senior Manager & ICAEW East Midlands Chair 2023-25 | Dafferns
Emily is an experienced senior manager within Dafferns’ corporate services team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate, charity and legal clients. With 11 years in the profession, 8 years qualified and over 7 as a manager, she brings extensive knowledge across audit, accountancy and tax, as well as her specialised areas of solicitors regulation authority audits and charity audits, making her a trusted adviser for clients’ compliance and strategic needs. Currently the ICAEW East Midlands Chair (2023-2025), she is dedicated to promoting excellence in the profession and the development of future talent.

 

Brian Jukes | Corporate Tax Partner | Dafferns

With over 22 years at Partner level with Dafferns, combined with 3 years in industry for a large speciality chemicals multinational and 3 years with a Big Four accounting firm, Brian brings an exceptional breadth and depth of expertise to his role as Dafferns’ specialist Corporate Tax Partner. Brian advises a diverse range of clients in navigating the complexities of UK and international tax for both businesses and individuals. His extensive work with owner managed businesses has made him a trusted adviser on critical areas such as business sales and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, succession planning, business valuations, cross-border VAT, profit extraction and corporate tax incentives such as R&D tax credits

 

Dani Coe | Branch Manager | Handelsbanken

Dani has 23 years of banking experience and joined Handelsbanken in 2013 as a Corporate Banking Manager in our Worcester branch. Has a good track record of developing relationships with property investors and trading businesses across a variety of sectors. Was appointed as Branch Manager of our Leamington Spa branch in 2016 and leads an experienced Corporate and Private Banking Team focused on corporate lending, personal mortgages and wealth management. Outside of work Dani enjoys travelling, playing netball and has a passion for community lead fundraising activities - this has lead to her recent appointed as Chair of The Friends of Ferncumbe supporting her son's school in Hatton, Warwickshire.

Karen Claydon | Branch Manager | Handelsbanken

Karen has 27 years of banking experience, 18 of which have been with Handelsbanken. Karen has performed a variety of branch based roles within the Bank in different branches. In addition she has spent 3 years working as a credit expert within a regional office based in Birmingham. Appointed as the Branch manager of Chesterfield branch in 2021, Karen is responsible for leading a team of 9 experienced banking professionals, focused on corporate lending and personal mortgages and supporting wealth management for our customers, Karen is married with 2 children which certainly keep her busy. In her spare time Karen enjoys holidays, cooking and spending time outdoors with the children.

Freya Summers | Partner | Wright Hassall

Freya is a partner in the Corporate Team at Wright Hassall. She works with a wide variety of business owners, companies and business advising on a range of corporate transactions. This includes share and business sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and reorganisations. She also advises on corporate governance matters such as company constitutional documents, start up arrangements and shareholder documentation. Having qualified in 2021, Freya joined Wright Hassall in 2022 from legal knowledge provider Practical Law where she spent 4 years in their corporate editorial team, having previously spent time at two large national law firms.
