  • You must be a senior leader within practice or industry (such as partners, directors, CFOs, finance directors).
  • You must have a good foundational knowledge of sustainability/ESG (for example, have completed the ICAEW Sustainability Certificate or an equivalent).
  • You must want to know how to integrate sustainability/ESG into their organisation and into their day-to-day role.

This online training programme equips senior leaders from practice and industry with the skillset to embed sustainability/ESG into their organisation and day-to-day role.

Through facilitated discussions with a subject-matter-expert, peer-to-peer learning, and optional 1:1 mentoring, ICAEW's programme brings technical learning about sustainability/ESG to life and enables you to deliver real change within your organisation.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. Completing this course could contribute up to 12 hours of verifiable CPD, providing you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.

Programme
The programme comprises:

  • 4 x three-hour facilitated discussion/meetings (online, facilitated by a sustainability expert).
  • Optional mentoring sessions.
  • Free access to the ICAEW Sustainability Accelerator Programme.
  • £2,000+VAT (members) and £2,400+VAT (non-members) for 4x 3 hour sessions
  • Mentoring is now optional at an additional £775+VAT per 60 minute session

Throughout the programme you will be part of a small cohort of five to eight senior leaders, all of whom have a good foundational knowledge of sustainability/ESG.

Peer learning and facilitated discussion provides a platform to practice coaching, critical thinking and mindset skills. They stimulate a transfer of learning from workshop to workplace from sharing live issues, gaining input and insights to "lessons learned".

Course trainer

Hannah Keartland
Hannah is the founder of Keartland & Co, a certified B Corp™, which helps business leaders navigate the sustainability transition. She has 20+ years experience leading innovation and change at director and board level with the unusual blend of leading innovation, finance and operations functions. She trained at Deloitte, is a Fellow of the ICAEW and a member of the ICAEW Sustainability Committee.
