About the speaker

David Jones

David Jones is a seasoned Non-Executive Director (NED) and Chair with a wealth of experience in corporate governance and strategic leadership. He currently serves as the Non-Executive Chair of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) and a Non-Executive Director at Ofwat. David has also held significant roles at Ofcom, Qualifications Wales, and the Aneurin Bevan NHS Board.

David is passionate about helping others transition to non-executive careers, sharing insights into what makes a successful NED, common pitfalls, and effective collaboration with executives. His connection to Wales enriches his perspective, offering unique insights into the regional business landscape. Whether you are considering a move to non-executive roles or looking to enhance your NED career, David’s experiences will provide valuable guidance and inspiration.
