Event information

Making tax digital (MTD) for income tax is scheduled to start from April 2026 for those with turnover from self-employment and property of more than £50,000, with further groups being brought in from 2027 and 2028. The legislation and regulations are almost final, and HMRC has expanded testing from April 2025. Caroline Miskin and Lindsey Wicks from the Tax Faculty, along with experts from HMRC, will explain the requirements in detail and provide the latest information including how to join the public beta testing.
