This course aims to help participants understand the basics of artificial intelligence – what it is, how it is being used and why it matters to accountants. We will consider how accountants are using AI and steps you can take to use AI-based technologies effectively while managing key risks.

The change of delegate(s) name(s) or transfer to other BBHSCA courses is permitted without penalty. Cancellations received less than fourteen days before the event date will not be refunded. Speaker

Daniel Clark FCA SFHEA MPhil MRes

Daniel is a trainer, writer and thought leader who aims to help firms and professionals understand and develop the skillsets that will enable them to thrive in a world shaped by rapidly changing technology. To achieve this, he draws on over thirty years’ experience in finance, management, HR and professional education, gained with blue-chip firms including EY and Goldman Sachs, and market-leading education provider BPP. He holds an MA in Online & Distance Education and an MRes in E-Research & Technology-Enhanced Learning, as well as publishing peer-reviewed research into the development of digital literacy.

Daniel is Chair of the ICAEW Tech Faculty Board, which provides insight and direction to help shape the ICAEW’s engagement with new technology. All of this has given him a unique insight into the intersections of technology, business and professional development. This enables him to write and deliver training which draws on solid research and delivers actionable insights which enhance digital skills and personal effectiveness.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - CANCELLATIONS AND LATE BOOKINGS

Your booking will be made under the terms & conditions of Beds, Bucks & Herts Society of Chartered Accountants.

If you cannot attend you can transfer your place to another individual.

Places can be transferred at any time up to and including the day of the event.

Cancellations received less than 14 days before the event date will not be refunded. All cancellations must be made in writing to the Society and sent to the Society Administrator at kate.binks@bbhsca.org.uk

If the Society cancels the event, our liability in the event of cancellation is limited to a full refund of the fee.

If we receive your booking less than 7 days before the course, you may not get a copy of the notes on the day.

The Society reserves the right to change the timing of the programme, the speakers, the date or the venue of the courses advertised. The content of individual courses may be subject to variation.

The online booking facility for BBH live online courses closes at the start of the event.

 

Delegates will be sent details of how to access the event, together with a link to the notes and/or slides, seven days prior to the start of the event or as part of the booking confirmation if booked within seven days of the start date.

 

These are live webinars and will not be recorded or be available after the event date.
