About the speakers

Simon Gray, Head of Business, ICAEW Simon is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, who qualified with KPMG in Nottingham. After many years of volunteering, including District Society President, Chair of the Business Committee and Council Member, he joined ICAEW as Head of Business in December 2021. His background is in the recruitment, careers, membership and inward investment sectors. Simon has started and run his own businesses and served as a Non-Executive Director.

Nick Wildgoose, Independent Supply Chain Risk Consultant, Supplien Consulting Limited Nick is the founder and driving force behind Supplien Consulting. He is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, supply chain and risk professional and has held a variety of global financial, procurement and commercial positions in several industry sectors. Working for companies such as PwC, Linde Group, The Virgin Group, Zurich Insurance Group and DHL Resilience360. He has served on the Board of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, which is the biggest procurement professional body in the world. He also served as a specialist advisor to the World Economic Forum and was Chairman of the Supply Chain Risk Leadership Council.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement.
