Event information

In recent years, manufacturing businesses have had to develop agility in their supply chains, counterbalancing recent upheavals including semi-conductor shortages, rampant inflation, shipping delays and eye watering costs as well as extreme weather. Now, tariffs and the uncertainties of future global political interventions are compounding business uncertainty.

In this bespoke webinar, we will delve deeper into the steps a business can take to develop a well-defined, resilient supply chain of the future. Expect to hear practical suggestions for de-risking complex manufacturing supply chains including how AI and tech can be harnessed to help secure business survival.

Our speaker Nick Wildgoose will consider:

  • Why supply chain transparency and resilience are critical to financial performance and the current issues and risks that organisations face. This will be based around various research findings and business case studies.
  • What technology and data solutions are available to improve supply chain transparency and resilience, together with key elements of their functionality and the benefits the solutions can deliver. The impact of AI and improved data provision.
  • Opportunities available to help support the optimisation of supply chain performance including having an appropriate resilience focus. The change management challenges, such as developing relevant investment (ROI) models, ensuring a cross functional approach, and the most appropriate comprehensive risk management approach.

Key benefits

  • Gain an understanding of how AI is being used to improve supply chains.
  • Learn how to de-risk a business through supply chain optimisation.
  • Gain access to an expert speaker who understands the CFO's role.
