Event information

Nature is fast becoming a core strategic management issue for businesses, affecting financial performance, competitiveness and long-term resilience. This session will explore the central role that finance teams play in enabling companies to respond, integrating nature into core accounting and financial processes to support decision-making across business functions.

This session is primarily designed for finance professionals who are new to nature-related topics and to those that already have some experience and wish to advance further. Additionally, it is also aimed at sustainability teams wishing to communicate more effectively with finance teams to help enable cross functional collaboration and decision-making.

This webinar is organised in collaboration with WBCSD as part of the A Track ‘Embed Nature’ capacity building programme. Find out more here.

Key benefits

  • Understand why nature is a strategic management issue for businesses, and how nature risk translates to financial risk.
  • Support better business decision-making and resilient business strategies by integrating nature into the activities and processes of the finance function.
  • Discuss real-world examples (case studies) where businesses have successfully embedded nature into finance and accounting processes.
