About the speakers

Session Chair: Adam Edelshain, Business Director, MediaSense
Adam is a Business Director at MediaSense, a global marketing and media advisory firm. Adam is focussed on bringing transparency to the media sector. This includes helping media owners measure and report their multi-platform audiences, and supporting both media owners and brands in measuring the carbon impact of advertising production, distribution and consumption. He also works with AdTech companies, helping them to demonstrate the value of their technologies.

Before Joining MediaSense, Adam was a Director at PwC where he qualified as a chartered accountant in 2010. At PwC Adam specialised in providing governance, risk management and process/controls support to clients across the media, entertainment and sports sectors. He was also a contributing editor to PwC’s Entertainment and Media Outlook.

Ben Bilsland, Technology, Media, Telecom Senior Analyst, Parter, RSM
Ben is a partner with RSM UK specializing in serving technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) companies. In 2021, Ben was selected to the firm’s Industry Eminence Program, which positions its analysts to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the industries RSM serves. In this role, Ben focuses on analysing TMT industry themes and trends to provide forward-looking, sector-specific insights to middle market businesses to support their growth in the United Kingdom and overseas.

Tom Morrod, Research Director and co-founder, Caretta Research
Tom has a 15-year track record as an industry technology analyst, most recently as chief of research in the technology division at Omdia, where he led a team of analysts and consultants. Few people in the industry know more than Tom about tech across consumer devices, video platforms, media and smart cities.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement.
