ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. About the speakers

Moya Hayhurst, Experienced Co-Sec and Researcher for Centre for AI in Board Effectiveness
Moya is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute with over 25 years’ experience in corporate governance across sectors including mining, financial services, and insurance. She specialises in using technology to enhance governance efficiency and has led teams through major organisational and regulatory change at firms such as Barclays, Royal London, Canopius, and AXA UK. Currently Head of Governance at the Nucleus Group, Moya works with boards and governance teams to deliver practical, tech-enabled solutions that support effective decision-making. She also contributes to the Centre for AI in Board Effectiveness, helping boards adopt emerging tools with confidence.

Tracy Woods, Co-founder of Conversations on AI
Tracy is passionate about the transformational potential of data and AI technologies; however, having spent all of her career at the vanguard of driving technology change within organisations across the private and public sector, she is realistic about the challenges to success, and the imperative to embrace the human aspects in this current wave of digital transformation.

Originally a trained musician, she completed her MSc in Business Administration (IT) at University of Lancashire and moved into corporate IT management in construction, then pharmaceutical industries before latterly becoming a consultant advising all sectors. She co-founded the Conversations on AI initiative to encourage cross discipline/background dialogue on the impact of new technologies on society and industry, following her MA in Philosophy and AI at Northeastern University London during lockdown. She is a Fellow of the British Computer Society.

Iain Swan, Brave Within
Ian is a former Big-4 partner with over 30 years experience in consulting and industry.
A specialist in corporate governance - particularly the UK Corporate Code and Provision 29 - internal audit, enterprise risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley, and providing leadership in situations of control transition and assurance. An ACA qualified accountant accustomed to working directly with executive management and non-executive directors, and well versed in Audit and Risk Committee matters.
Experienced across multiple sectors with a recent focus on power & utilities, telecoms, media and technology, and manufacturing. Clients include some of the largest global companies, through the FTSE350 to private equity owned businesses, as well as 15-months seconded to National Grid as Group Head of Controls.
Led Centrica's Risk and Controls Upgrade Programme designed to meet UK Corporate Code changes and Provision 29 in particular.
