The third of our 2025 insolvency roadshows is a legal update presented by Oliver Ward-Jones, a director in the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group of Squire Patton Boggs. Oliver will review some of the key insolvency cases in 2025 and explain why they are important for IPs.

About the speakers

Oliver Ward-Jones, Senior Associate, Squire Patton Boggs Oliver is a director in Squire Patton Boggs’s Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group and is based in the firm’s Birmingham office. He advises corporates, not-for-profits, charities, banks, insolvency practitioners and other key stakeholders in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency law, both contentious and non-contentious.

Facilitator: Victoria Alexandrou, Insolvency Manager, ICAEW Victoria has over 20 years’ insolvency experience. She has worked in firms ranging from a sole practitioner to one of the Big 4 and completed JIEB in 2011. She joined ICAEW’s QAD department in 2016 as a reviewer, completing both insolvency and practice assurance visits, before being promoted to manager in 2024. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys running, watching motor sports, especially WRC, and is an avid reader.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. Attending this webinar could contribute up to 1 hour of verifiable CPD, providing you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.
